Exterior together with Jamie Durie created a very effective native style garden,
keeping within the modern landscapes of today’s fashion. The purpose of this
native garden is to blend the surrounding golf course with the residential
homes.
All plants used in the garden were selected for their extreme tolerance to
Australia’s climate and for their outstanding colour contrast.
Feature structures were created in the garden using recycled hardwood
timbers including day beds, bench seats, decking pontoons and feature posts
positioned to resemble the tall Eucalyptus surrounding the area. Sandstone
boulders quarried from local sites have been used to provide a natural
structure for water to mould whilst in movement. |
